Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Master Software Solutions LLC ("Rollcut", "we", "us"). They cover the Rollcut iPhone app, the Rollcut web dashboard and userollcut.app (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree for you. Keep your sign-in methods secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

3. Plans, free reels and billing

• Free: 3 reels every 7 days, with a small Rollcut watermark, no payment needed.
• Paid plans: Pro, Studio and Team, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you subscribe. Team includes 3 people; each extra person is billed monthly per seat.
• Free trial: Pro yearly starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you won't be charged.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Where you pay: in-app purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's terms. Web purchases are processed by our payment partners (RevenueCat and Stripe).
• Price changes: we'll tell you before a price change applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it does.
• Refunds: covered by our Refund Policy. In short, no refunds except for billing errors that were our fault. Email billing@userollcut.app.
• Features marked "coming soon" (such as auto-posting) are not part of what you pay for until they launch.

4. Your content

You own your clips and the reels you make. Rollcut edits on your device, so we don't receive your videos. When a feature needs to send content (for example, auto-posting when it launches), you give us a limited license to store and transmit that content only to perform that feature for you. You're responsible for having the rights to the content you edit and share, including music, people and places in it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
• create or share content that sexually exploits minors, harasses people, or impersonates someone without permission;
• reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service, or get around plan limits or security;
• resell or share an account outside the seats you pay for.

6. Teams

The person who buys a Team plan is its owner. They're responsible for inviting and removing members and for seat charges. Members' accounts remain their own. If a member leaves the team, they lose the Team plan's features.

7. Other platforms

Rollcut can hand reels off to apps like TikTok and Instagram. Those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them or for how they handle your content.

8. AI features

Rollcut uses automated, on-device AI to choose moments, cut, caption and grade. Results can be imperfect: captions may mishear words, and edits may miss a moment you wanted. Review your reel before posting it.

9. Our property

The Service, including its software, looks, templates, caption styles, music placeholders and design, belongs to Rollcut and our licensors. You may use looks, templates and caption styles in reels you make with Rollcut, including commercial reels. You may not extract or redistribute them separately. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Rollcut and delete your account any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your original clips: Rollcut doesn't back them up.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Rollcut isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you create or share, or from your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. [Lawyer: decide on arbitration and a class-action waiver.]

14. Apple App Store terms

If you got Rollcut from the App Store, these Terms are between you and Rollcut, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple isn't responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you're not in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and not on any U.S. government list of prohibited parties. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. For important changes, we'll tell you in advance in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
